Bunker Upgrade Revealed – Analog Room

I picked up this groovy table and chairs set from my favorite place… Unique Thrift Store, for $100. They were beat to hell. I spent this weekend taking them apart, washing the… DNA… or whatever it was encrusted all over them, buffing and polishing, and finally reassembling. One chair probably won’t make it, unless I whip out the JB Weld.?

All in all, I’m pretty happy with how they came out.

In other news, I got the PS3 Eye of Judgement during an Amazon DotD a month back. It will be out and ready for play from any nerd nerdy enough to try it out.

For those of you not in the know, Eye of Judgement is a CCG assisted by the PS3 Eye doodad. When you play a card, it actually instantiates the character on the card. Here’s a video review.

ok I admit the chairs seemed awful looking when you first got them but look very nice now.

A little DW40 or some lube of some sort to keep the plastic from squeaking when you spin them would go a long way to keep people sane.

they should marry a game of eye of judgment with a Johnny Lee project like this http://youtube.com/watch?v=nhSR_6-Y5Kg. Then you could even go as far as to flip the cards upside down and they would react. I think the game sounds cool but even the guy demoing it in the video sounded bored showing it off. I definitely want to play it but i don’t think its a good ‘try it one time to see if you like it’ game. It’s probably better if you know a few other people who have it and you play regularly.

The table looks very cool. Better get silicone if they need de-squeaked.

Okay, I’m going to say it… the second I got over the coolness ove moving the cards, and seeing the little doodahs move around in my hand, I said “BORED!” and shut it off. Hopefully one of you dorks will dig it.
